The Frighteners.

Based on the movie... kind of.

Years ago, in the small town of Ridgeview, a man went insane. His name was Johnny, he was working at a hospital/church, and was on duty at the time that he snapped. As he was walking down the halls, he pulled out a gun, and killed twelve people before he himself was killed. Each person that was shot had a number carved on their forehead. The first person had a one, the second person had a two, and so on.

There was an accomplice to his murders, though; Priscilla McDena. She was only fifteen at the time, and claimed that he forced her to help him out- that if she didn't, he'd kill her to. Never mind that she was lying, because people believed her, and not much mind was paid to her. Went to jail for a few years, and that was the end of things.

And now, more than forty years later, people are, quite mysteriously, turning up dead. It seems like a heart attack, but all the people are in perfect shape, and most are very young.

There is also a spike in 'paranormal activity', but not a lot of attention is being paid to that. Except by the few paranormal investigators in the town. They can see the numbers carved onto the people's foreheads as they walk by, but they say nothing. They aren't sure what to think of this, and they have no clue that it's connected to the twelve murders that happened years ago.

(note; the investigators can see ghosts, and can see what they think to believe the grim reaper, or well.. Death. They don't speak about it to anyone but themselves, and the people that they believe to be next.

The numbers carved onto the normal people's heads will be 37-51. No one can be any number below, or higher then these, and there's a reason that might be revealed later for that.

Someone can play Priscilla, but I think I will. It'll just be easier.)

Have at least two people, though I encourage you to have more.
There's a limit to ONE investigator per person. Though, you can have as many normal people as you'd like. [this all depends on who all joins]
Give a little bio on them, and their number. Be aware that people with a low number are very likely to die. In fact, whoever has 37-39 will die for sure. Only chose these numbers if you're having numerous characters.
No overly emo/scene pictures. If you think i might disapprove of your photo, then post it first and i'll see.

Surprisingly, I've just started to hear about the deaths
a few days ago. Though, they have been going on for
a while, I'd been gone. Went on a little, well-needed
vacation, and came back to this. I'm not really scared,
even though I suppose I should be. Someone told me yesterday,
my number is 47. I don't know what that means, but I
think they're just full of shit.

odd thing, and they were all young. And in great
health, which isn't very reassuring. Doesn't matter who

I would've joined, but I went to the beach for Halloween xD I finished 5 books because there was nothing to do... Because, you couldn't swim 'cos it was fucking freezing... x.x

Setting; paranormal investigators- you're walking around town, not doing anything in particular. the numbers have just started to appear, and you aren't really sure what is happening at this moment.
others- you're doing anything, really. doesn't matter.
